The first picture is our dining room...the place where we are supposed to eat. Well, because it is constantly covered in junk Kaitlin and I eat in our floor in our room.

The second picture is my training group...yay!

and so now it all begins...

DONE with training!
It was official today at exactly 5:23! We actually had to take an assessment test with about 45 questions, I passed... DUH!
This week consisted of working 8:30-6ish Tuesday-Friday
But it was really 5-7. why you may ask? Well in order to save money I ride the bus. The bus is SLOW and I am a worry-wart so I would end up getting to work about an hour early because sometimes the bus is full, or slow, or it gets stuck in traffic. Therefore I would get up around 5...taking the bus home takes about an hour because it stops about 4 times. I got picked up at Epot with all the other CP (college program peeps) and since Epcot has different countries there are people from different countries working there. That bus STINKS like armpit but it is really really interesting to listen to people talk and watch them. I would watch people all day if I could, it is so interesting sometimes.

ANYWAYS. What did I learn this week?
That being a Character Performer is about 10 times harder than I thought. I can't go into much detail but I can explain my sweat. :) the sweat was everywhere, I mean places you thought you would never sweat. My hair would look I just got out of the shower and during the set ( when we are in the park) I would end up with sweat dripping in my mouth, eyes, and ears. I'm talking NASTYYYYY.
I was friends with Chip from Chip & Dale the first three days and today I was friends with Max, Goofys son today. Chip & Dale are a lively bunch with a lot of energy, they have quite the imagination and like to make people laugh. Max has the biggest feet and booty EVER, he has a very hard time balancing himself because of that.
In about two weeks I am going to audition for the parades or something. Apparently the best way to get a good dancing part is to go to the dance workshops Disney Entertainment provides because the people who teach those classes are also the people who decide on parade people. So I will be doing that, no worries. It might take a while because I won't be able to make it to every workshop or even the auditions because i work A  LOT. Even if I was already a Face Character or parade person I would have had to do this training anyways....yes.

It was fun this week because after getting off work we would go to one of the parks for the evening and ride a couple of rides and chill out. It was really really nice because I don't know if anybody knows but I am OBSESSED with rollarcoasters. :D

I have tomorrow, Sunday and Monday off and then I work the rest of the week. One day I work 11 hours :O. getting that money.
OH and tomorrow I am going to one of the waterparks because we get in FO FREE!

It has been a good good week, stressful and I worried a lot, but good.
I do miss home and my crazy family and my girlsssss, and of course that boy. Which by the way he leaves next Saturdayyyy for the other side of the world!! excitingggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is it for now,

How it all began...

I am FINALLY going to do this!

How it all came together:
* Filled out an application
* Had a phone interview
* Had an audition in Atlanta
* Waited until forever
* Became a Character Performer
* Found a roommate
* Checked in August 17th
* Moved in August 17th
* Traditions ( which is pretty much the basics about Disney)
* and on Sunday the 19th I get to go to training for my part at Disney!

I am pretty excited/nervous. My roommate is pretty cool I must say, she is from TEXAS but the sad part is that I have more of an accent than her. It rains a lot here but that is okay. Tomorrow aka Saturday we (Kaitlin, Tiffany, Lindsey and myself) * note: Tiffany and Lindsey are some girls we met during check-in that we were hoping to get an apartment with, but unfortunately they are not over 21 so that didn't get to happen* are going to go to the parks cause we get in FO FREE!!!!

dat is all for now.
Disney is pretty, lots of rules, but pretty and my type of atmosphere.

:] peace children,
